There’s rude and crude talk and/or jokes about all manner of sexual subjects, including oral sex/masturbation, gay sex, anal sex, bondage sex, sex toys, rape and statutory rape. Everything seems okay until the next night when Malcolm and Megan are watching TV and Kisha shows up behind them. She twists Megan's neck around, killing her and sending Malcolm running away. It’s not that the Marlon Wayans horror spoof “A Haunted House 2” isn’t stupid.

Hell, it wastes the talents of all involved, because this isn’t even a movie. It’s edited like a series of end-credit outtakes and doesn’t even try to be coherent. It flashes its cynical, cash-grabbing intentions like a bright neon diner sign on a New Jersey state road.
Ultimately, A Haunted House 2 offers an entertaining mix of horror and comedy that is sure to delight fans of both genres. While not a groundbreaking film by any means, it is a fun and enjoyable watch that offers plenty of laughs and scares in equal measure. While the film's scares are mostly played for laughs, there are some genuinely creepy moments that may give viewers a fright. Since it knows exactly what’s about to go down, it will choose better angles and shots. After exorcising the demons of his ex-, Malcolm starts afresh with his new girlfriend and her two children. After moving into their dream home, Malcolm is once again plagued by bizarre paranormal events. Although there are obvious elements imported from recent horror pics like “Insidious,” “The Possession” and “The Conjuring,” it’s hard to really call “A Haunted House 2” a parody.

He also finds old videotapes with a demonic being in it trying to kill a family of three, but it fails every time. Throughout the movie, Wayans delivers his signature brand of raunchy humor, often relying on physical comedy and exaggerated facial expressions to generate laughs. His co-stars Pressly and Cedric also provide comedic moments, with Pressly in particular delivering a standout performance as Malcolm's wary and increasingly exasperated girlfriend. (In fact, don’t read this paragraph.) A canine is squashed flatter than a pancake by a safe, which admittedly is done in exaggerated comic fashion, but another is beaten, shot repeatedly and chainsawed. The resulting carnage is lovingly depicted, and if that weren’t enough, the poor creature’s head is then blown off by a shotgun in front of Megan’s kids.
The low cost ensures that it will make money even if just the Wayans go see it. In a plot twist I wish "Sex and the City" had used, Malcolm discovers that Kisha sold her soul to the Devil for a pair of expensive shoes. Mucho mayhem ensues, most of it manifested as reprehensibly unfunny homophobia. In a scene one can never unsee, Malcolm is raped by the evil spirit haunting his house, a rape he uploads to YouTube by accident. A lot of people apparently thought so, otherwise we wouldn’t have this sequel. Sloppy, vulgar, and manic, A Haunted House 2 might be worth a chuckle or two, but mostly it's a string of pop culture references and crude gags that fail to hit their intended targets.
Although he tries to explain the weirdness to Megan and the kids, they don't believe him. To make matters worse, Malcolm comes home the next day to discover Kisha talking to Megan, looking very much not possessed. She has told Megan that Malcolm left her in a ditch to die, and she leaves after flashing him some scary black demon eyes. Later, Malcolm sees Abigail wrote "Miss me?" in red crayon all over the walls.

Speaking of the Wayans, Marlon Wayans is a talented man. He’s worked with Darren Aronofsky ("Requiem for a Dream") and the Coens ("The Ladykilers"). He co-wrote the similar, though far funnier "Scary Movie." And whenever he speaks of his long-gestating Richard Pryor biopic, tingles go up my spine.
